Who Books This

People arrive at this from a lot of different places.

Some can describe exactly what keeps happening. They've had the conversation with themselves a hundred times and could write it down in one sentence.

Some can feel that something keeps happening without being able to name it. It's more of a sense than a story.

Some are single and want to make different choices this time. Some are in a relationship and want a better read on their own half of it. Some are on the other side of one and want to understand what it was.

Two different things, and your chart treats them separately. Venus is what you draw toward you. Mars is how you initiate. They don't automatically agree with each other, and knowing where they disagree explains a lot.

Not an address. The contexts, settings and circumstances where relationship has tended to show up for you, and where it's worth putting your attention.

Before You Worry About the Work

You don't have to become a different person.

Your chart won't hand you a list of things to correct about yourself.

What it gives you is better information. How you're wired. What you want, as distinct from what you've been told is reasonable to want. What you tend to do automatically, without deciding to. And where there's more room to choose than you'd realized.

Most of the people I read for don't change who they are. What changes is what they notice, and how early they notice it. That turns out to be most of the difference.

In practice, that looks like noticing the familiar pull toward a certain kind of person on the second date, instead of in the second year.

Worth Knowing Before You Book

Your Venus sign is one piece. The story is in how the pieces connect.

Here's the piece most people have never had explained, and it's often the part that lands hardest in a session.

Every house in your chart has a sign on it, and every sign has a ruling planet. That planet sits somewhere else in the chart entirely.

So the houses we associate with dating, partnership and intimacy are linked, through their rulers, to other areas: your work, your family, your health, your community, the thing you do on weekends.

The houses we use to examine dating, partnership and intimacy - what's sitting in them, and the themes, experiences, and areas of emphasis they point to. This is often the part of the chart people recognize fastest.

Where the rulers of those houses landed, what that shows about the contexts your relationships have moved through, and which areas of your life they've been most entangled with. This is where the "where do I find it" question gets worked on.

I spend several hours on your chart before we meet, reading it, writing it up, finding the connections. You do nothing but show up.

During

Video call, just the two of us. I show you your chart and walk you through what I found. You ask questions whenever you want. If something lands hard, we stop and stay there.

I'm an astrologer and the author of Charting Love with Astrology, published by Llewellyn in February 2026.

I built the framework this session runs on. It's the one in the book - Venus, Mars, the relationship houses, the rulers, and timing - worked out over years of reading charts, then written down so other people could use it. The book ends by teaching readers how to run it on their own chart.

This session is that same process, except I'm doing it on your chart for you, and you get to explore it with me, ask questions, and fill in the gaps only YOUR experiences can fill.

I've written the horoscopes for Llewellyn's Astrological Calendar for seven years, trained through Kepler College and the School of Traditional Astrology, and have a degree in sociology and psychology. That last one explains a lot. I'm more interested in why people do what they do than in predicting what happens next.

Your chart doesn't tell you exactly what's going to happen. It tells you how you're built, which is more useful.

Cancellation, Rescheduling & Refund Policy

Your Charting Love session time is reserved specifically for you, and your session includes personalized preparation completed in advance of our appointment.

Rescheduling

If you need to reschedule, please contact me by email at least 48 hours before your scheduled appointment.

You may reschedule your appointment up to three times. After three reschedules, the session will be considered cancelled and no refund will be issued.

Cancellations & Refunds

To cancel your session, you must contact me by email at least 48 hours before your scheduled appointment.

If you cancel with at least 48 hours' notice, you may receive a refund minus any fees incurred in processing the cancellation. If significant personalized preparation for your session has already been completed, the cost of work already completed may also be deducted from your refund.

Where a cancellation requires additional administrative work, an administrative fee of up to $50 may also be deducted.

Cancellations made with less than 48 hours' notice are not eligible for a refund.

Illness & Emergencies

Life happens. If illness or an emergency prevents you from attending your session, contact me as soon as possible and we'll reschedule without a fee, even when less than 48 hours' notice is possible.

This exception is intended for genuine illness and emergencies. Repeated last-minute cancellations or rescheduling may result in the loss of your session and/or the ability to book future appointments.

No-Shows

If you do not attend your scheduled session and have not contacted me beforehand, you will forfeit the session and no refund or rescheduling will be available.

Late Arrivals

If you arrive late, your session may have to end at the originally scheduled time. This will depend on my schedule and availability that day.

If I Need to Cancel

If I need to cancel your appointment, you may choose to reschedule your session or receive a full refund.

After Your Session

Once your Charting Love session has taken place, the service is considered complete and no refunds are available.

Before You Book

Questions you might have.

Plenty of people who book do, and they're usually right about the broad strokes. What's harder to see from the inside is the structure underneath - what you want as distinct from what you've settled for wanting, how your way of pursuing it does or doesn't match, and which parts of your life your relationships have been running through. Knowing your habits and seeing what drives them are two different things.

The book gives you the process. The session is me running it on your chart, catching the connections that are hard to see in your own chart, and answering the questions that come up. Readers usually arrive with better questions, which makes for a better session.

That's fine - and common. You don't need to arrive with a diagnosis. The chart describes how you're built and what it means for relationships, regardless of whether you've identified a pattern. Sometimes the session is where the pattern becomes visible for the first time.

I'll tell you what I see in your chart, clearly. I won't soften it to the point of uselessness, but I'm also not here to shock you. The goal is useful information. If something lands hard, we'll slow down and work through it.

No. I'll explain what I'm looking at as we go. If you've never looked at your chart before, that's fine. If you have, we'll go further. Either way, I explain things in plain language and I'd rather you ask a question than sit there nodding.

Astrology works from your birth chart - your date, time, and place of birth. As long as those exist, your situation fits. I'm not telling your future. Your chart describes the patterns you bring to relationships, and that applies whatever is happening in your life right now.

Most people don't, going in. You don't need to. I start with your chart and tell you what I found. Questions tend to show up as we go - your job is just to flag when something lands and when something doesn't.

Your birth date, birth time, and birth place. If you don't know your birth time, we'll talk about what we can and can't see without it. Send that information when you book and I'll take it from there.

No. I'll look at what's being activated in your chart right now, and that's worth knowing - but this session is about understanding how you're built, not forecasting events. If you want to know when something will happen, this is the wrong session.

The session is just us. The work we do is specific to your chart and your relationship history, and it goes better when it's one on one.

Not in this session. This one is about your story and your patterns, so we stay with your chart. If you want to look at a partner's chart afterward, we can talk about it as a follow-up session, with their express permission.

It is. I prepare for several hours before we get on the call - reading your chart, writing it up, finding the connections.
